Hello Final 4!!!
This week, you need to submit a photo for Loreal Men Expert and this cycle, we want you to focus on your eyes.
Let's see the photos this week
Sean: I really like this picture. Then again, I'm not surprised I would. I feel you're our most commercial model this Cycle, so it only makes sense you'd give us a strong photo for a purely commercial photoshoot. Your eyes look very refreshed in this and I love the overall styling of it. Your facial hair is well-groomed and I like your outfit for this. It's very fitting, but doesn't detract focus from the product. My eyes definitely go to your eyes in this shot and you've done a great job.
Jensen: I'm not sure I agree with the statement that you're our most commercial model. Commercial models usually are always full of life and spark. Let me get the negatives out of the way. Your expression kills me. It's the only part of you that I have hated this season. That's the end of that lol Onto the positives. Your eyes look fresh and beautiful. I love that you pointed out about around the eyes so that we can see that yes you're right, there's no dark circles, no bags, nothing, so the product works. This is good for that part. As an ad, I really wish there was some spark.

EVALUATION: DAVE ANNABLE's eyes are looking FRESH and YOUNG. This PRODUCT is all about refreshed eyes. To continue on with the REFRESHING theme, AYUBOT computes DAVE ANNABLE would have looked better clean shaven. DAVE ANNABLE was blessed by his parents with brown hair, but cursed with ginger facial hair.
JY: I don't like your facial hair. It's kinda creepy here. Maybe because the color is different from your hair. I love your eyes, though. I think it's very strong, fresh and energetic which is perfect for the product. I would ranked this photo first easily this week, but your facial hair was so distracting. I need to think now....
Sean: Your eyes are definitely the focus here, but I worry that the shot may be a bit too tight on you. Also, your facial hair looks a little patchy in a couple areas. Also, in most shoots, I don't mind black and white shots and in a lot of shoots, I actually wind up liking them more than if they had been in color. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those instances. For a heavily commercial photoshoot, I would have preferred a color shot more times than not (not saying there wouldn't be a time I like it here, but it would have to be a very special circumstance). Still, your eyes are the focus and they look really nice here, so you have the product shown well.
Jensen: I thought the same thing Sean, the shot is too tight on his face. I'm drawn to your eyes but also your forehead because of it. I always like colour for this shoot as well. But it's your eyes and face I'll be focusing on most. What I really love is there is an expression in your eyes. I'm drawn to them because they're pulling me in. There's no dark circles or bags and that's good as well. Not bad.

EVALUATION: This PHOTOGRAPH is a bit too close up to be an effective BEAUTY PRODUCT advertisement. However GARRETT HEDLUND's eyes look very suited for this product. However, in a BEAUTY CAMPAIGN, features must be perfect. That means no lines anywhere. BLACK AND WHITE is not suited for a modern BEAUTY PRODUCT.
JY: Garrett, this is too gloomy and sad for commercial shot. Too bad, cause I think your eyes are very strong. The connection is there and I love how sexy your eyes here. This photo is good but the concept (B&W) isn't suitable for this round.
Sean: I'm liking most of this photo. This is actually one shoot where your youth will probably really help you out. As you get older, bags tend to appear under your eyes more naturally, but you wouldn't really have that problem at your age. Your eyes definitely look refreshed here. You also have a very commercial element to this photo that's nice. My only real problem is with the background. I don't like how it feels like there's a bright light shining from behind you. It may be the exact same shade of white as the post, but it still manages to hurt my eyes when I look at it cause I just see it as being overly bright. Still, this is a very strong photo for this round. Good work.
Jensen: Yea the background is extra bright. Too stark. Your mouth is really nice. My biggest complaint, is that, unlike what Sean said, I actually see puffiness under your right eye. I think you look tired and for this shot, being tired is not good

EVALUATION: AYUBOT computes that JOSH HUTCHERSON needs to wear glasses. JOSH HUTCHERSON has gone cross-eyed. In terms of PRODUCT, this is not very desired, as it may lead some customers to believe this product will effect one's vision.
JY: Except the bright background, I think this photo is very solid. I love the freshness in your eyes. Very commercial but this photo would be much better if you were smiling cause we're trying to sell the product here. You don't look approachable here.
Sean: For the most part, I'm really liking this photo. There's a strong commercial appeal to it and I don't really see any bags under your eyes, so the product is being displayed well. On the negative side of things, the quality of the photo feels a bit off. It's not bad, but it's not as sharp and crisp as I would like to see in a commercial advertisement. My other problem is with your right eyebrow (on our left). It could very well just be the expression on your face making it look like this, but it looks like you have a Scouse Brow and I find those to be tacky and pretty scary-looking. If I had judged this Cycle as POD (like Ayubot suggested) I would have given you a much harder time about your eyebrow. Still, those two minor details aside, I do really like your photo this round.
Jensen: Now THIS is a commercial photo. There's energy, there's life, there's spark. I love the arched eyebrow because it brings more life to this. Your eyes are spectacular. The brightest most alive eyes of the round. You don't look tired which is good. NOW, I do have a complaint. I don't see any problem with quality BUT there is a bright light on your face bugging the crap out of me.
Sean WTF is a POD??

EVALUATION: The first thing AYUBOT notices in this photograph is the COLOUR. It is halfway between being MONOCHROMATIC and CHROMATIC. As a BEAUTY CAMPAIGN, this is not something we want to see. The most EFFECTIVE BEAUTY CAMPAIGNS are those with BOLD and FULL COLOUR.
JY: I like it but didn't really love this much, cause I see a cute boy more than a model. But your eyes are beautiful. Very strong connection and I think your energy is good. I think you can do more with the eyes because it's a little bit unbalance here. But overall, this is good
