Hello Final 6!!!
This week photoshoot is definitely the toughest shoot in the Male Cycle history. I'm so glad because it's not a trainwreck and it's possible to have this same theme in the female version in the future. Let's start the judging!!!
Dave ~ Pro & Anti (Corporate Activism)
JY: I think these two photos fit so well together. I really don't know about this issue but your explanation for your photos were so good. I think this photo is okay. I'm not sure if I'm going to remember this in a few weeks but you did nailed your theme. I like the Pro one more.
Jensen: I'm glad you mentioned the expressions and with reason. I noticed that right away. I'm also glad for your explanations. I like these. Your first one is probably my favourite. The expression and pose and styling all work perfectly. And you seem to have an evil vibe about you with your face and expression. While good, I agree with Jae about remembering this set in the future, but you've done really good with the theme and modeling.
Sean: I agree with you that having matching photos really helps. I like seeing a common thought in contrast to one another in separate shots. These are very similar in the posing and staging, but different in the styling, expression, and message, so I have to applaud you on that. I feel like your first shot is the stronger of the two as I get a better sense of your message from it and it just has a stronger impact, but both photos are very strong. Good work.

EVALUATION: For AYUBOT both the photos are the same in terms of all areas. This PHOTOSHOOT was not a twins PHOTOSHOOT, though. Because the photos look alike, it brings striking CONTRASTS between them.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
Bring more to the MODELLING table. The photos are not MEMORABLE.
Garrett ~ Pro & Anti (Oil Use)
JY: Oil is definitely the most interesting subject this cycle. I think your explanation is good. I like the Anti one more because it's very subtle and mysterious. Overall, I think you chose a creative way to translate your issue in a photo. That's what I like the most about you this week
Jensen: When I saw your photos in the other thread, I wasn't sure I got it. Thanks for your explanations. I agree it's very creative. Your pro is the opposite of Dave's expression and pose but both work excellent. I love your anti because it's another creative artistic shot from you. I really think you've come a long way because in the beginning I wasn't sure there'd be anything I'd like from you but the last half the game you've impressed me.
Sean: I appreciate that you went with what is possibly a more difficult theme and your explanations of the photos definitely help. I'm not too big of a fan of your first shot, though. The quality seems a bit off, I'm not really liking your face in this shot, and there doesn't seem to be much to the shot. I can see a connection to the theme, but it's not as strong as it could be. However, your second photo is much stronger. It may be an extreme close-up, but it's very striking. I like the use of make-up and lighting in this photo. It's a very memorable shot and definitely the stronger of the two this round.

EVALUATION: AYUBOT computes that GARRETT HEDLUND is trying to overload her circuits. Unfortunately for GARRET HEDLUND, AYUBOT is too busy to admire all of this oil. AYUBOT notes his DESCRIPTIONS, they help bring THEME CONNECTION, but both MODELLING and FASHION contents are very low in these photographs.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
Bring more to the MODELLING table.
FASHION is important to AYUBOT.
Heechul ~ Pro & Anti (War)
JY: First, you reward photo really creep me out. Heechul, I love your Pro photo. I think the styling is very bold, edgy and striking enough. Not a fan of the angle, but I like your interpretation. And your Anti photo is weird and different but I love it. I got the peace vibes and you looked so soft and serene here. I love how contrast the two photos here. I still can see the logo though but Great job
Jensen: Meh, I'd like your pro photo if it hadn't been handed to you by a judge saying you should've used it instead, and then suggested you should've used in another shoot by another judge (myself) I feel like you didn't do this yourself, which sucks because I get a pretty big war loving vibe from it. Now on the other hand I like the anti photo. I hate the long hair on you, which is why I hate your avatar But for anti war, it works. You look like a peace loving hippie and the butterflies help. And your face is perfect in that one.
Sean: I love both of these shots. The War shot isn't a literal shot, but is a very artistic shot and I can definitely see the theme in it. I don't care that the photo was suggested in the past cause you still originally found this photo yourself and this is a good use of it. When it comes to the Anti-War shot, there's not really a way to have a literal shot of this theme, but I can still see you get this across in an artistic manner, too. In both shots, you've managed to get across each point of view and both looks really nice. Good work

EVALUATION: AYUBOT thinks these photos go well together. AYUBOT is pleased to finally see HEECHUL KIM not afraid of his potential for ANDROGYNY and submitting a feminine photo for his ANTI-WAR.
AYUBOT also thinks HEECHUL KIM's PRO-WAR photo is very reminiscent of MARS/ARES, THE GOD OF WAR.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
AYUBOT wants to see a more confident, HEECHUL KIM. Also MORE FASHION.
Josh H ~ Pro & Anti (Gay)
JY: Josh, I think this is probably your best week. I love the Pro photo so much. Well I'm always a big fan of NOH8 photo. I think the message is clear and your eyes in this photo is beautiful. Strong connection. As for your Anti photo, I know how hard to portray something that you are not supporting but your explanation is great. I can see the homophobic in your second photo. Great job, Josh!!!
Jensen: If anyone is offended then they can just fuck off. This is always a hot issue in the world. First, I love Adam Bouska's NOH8 photos. They are the best in the world. LOVE IT! And then the homophobe shooting down a gay guy? Talk about gay bashing! You've done a great job!!!
Sean: I'm surprised it's taken this long for me to see a NOH8 shot in one of these games. I really like the way they're set up and this campaign is well-known enough that it easily connects you to the theme this round. The Anti-Gay photo is a bit more of a stretch, but the explanation easily gets us where we need to be with it. I don't like that we can't see you as clearly in it, but what we can see, works.

EVALUATION: For AYUBOT, JOSH HUTCHERSON's ANTI-GAY photo is the stronger one. It really speaks to AYUBOT's ASSAULT MODE. There are MANY PEOPLE around the world to treat HOMOSEXUALITY like that, and it works well for AYUBOT.
Unlike the other judges, NOH8 may be a well known PRO-GAY campaign, but there is nothing special or exciting about it.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
Remember to bring FASHION to the competition.
Try to STAND OUT, and we remember you for the right reasons.
Liam ~ Pro & Anti (War)
JY: I think the message in the first photo is very clear and straightforward but I want to see the modelling content more. I don't see a model in your first photo. The connection isn't really strong for me. However I love your second photo. I got the peace vibes and the modelling content is very strong.
Jensen: I love love love your first photo. You are fierce and amazing and strong looking. Fighting for your country. Your environment is awesome. Everything is great. Your second photo is also great. The setting is gorgeous, serene and the lighting in both photos is definitely a great addition. You never fail to impress me.
Sean: One thing that I like about your photos is that you consistently give us settings for your shots. As much as your modeling counts in these games, the right setting always enhances a shot and that's one thing you've always remembered to give us. I feel like your first photo is the stronger of the two here. I feel the tenseness of the situation and you're dressed in a more glamorous version of a war setting here, so you have both the theme and modeling content there. I feel you're a bit too stiff in your posing for the second shot and you're not really fully relaxed in the Peace photo.

EVALUATION: SEAN MAHER is correct: ATMOSPHERE does add to photographs and make them more memorable. At THIS STAGE of the competition, CONTESTANTS need to wow us to stay in. For AYUBOT, the PRO and the ANTI are portrayed in the FASHION. The FASHION really tells the story. Combined with the SETTING and the POSE, the two photos work very well.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
A recurring critique this round for me is BE MEMORABLE.
Stephen ~ Pro & Anti (Death Penalty)
JY: I know it's going to be tough for you this week. I like your Pro photo more. I think the anger in this photo is very strong and I love your eyes in this photo so much. As for your Anti photo, I'm not so sure. I think you explained your photo well but it's hard for me to relate it to your photo. And the lack of modelling content here is quite visible.
Jensen: I agree with Jae, your pro photo is good. I wasn't sure I got it at first when I just saw the photos, but your explanation of being an executioner really helped sell it for me. I love your connection with the camera and how angry you look. It's a great photo. The anti, I'm still not sure I get it. You explained it well, and I see you being taken away, but for life in prison maybe you should have actually been behind bars. But I get your meaning and you definitely sold the point, just not sure the photo helped on the sell.
Sean: I think your limited portfolio is starting to show here. You've had to rely on your Arrow shoots quite a bit here, but I imagine that could be a little unfair to hold against you. I'm sure several other celebrities have multiple shoots from the same show like you have. The difference is that they don't have a prop on those shows that give them away as being from that show. That said, I do like the anger in your first shot; the "executioner" description helps get us fully there. The description for your Anti-Death Penalty shot helps, but I'm still not fully loving it. Like Jensen said, I think it would have been a stronger image to see you behind bars. There's not as much modeling-wise going on in that shot, either.

The fact these PHOTOGRAPHS feel like something we see before does not help STEPHEN AMELL.
Nor does the PRODUCTION STILL AYUBOT detects.
